Welcome back to the final half term of the school year!

This half term, Class 1 and Pre-school have an exciting new topic 'How can we be superheroes?.'

The children will be learning all about real life superheroes who help us in this world, talk about fictional superheroes, read lots of superhero books such as 'Supertato'. Children will have the opportunity to create Pop art inspired work inspired by James Rizzi, make their own healthy fruit salad in DT, learn about living things and their habitats in Science and much more. 

Please see attached our class newsletter, home learning ideas and Maths KIRFS for this half term. 

For your information:

• Homework will be sent out on Friday's in your child's homework book. 
• Spelling tests for Y1/2 - Friday's
• P.E Days - Wednesday and Friday (to be brought in Monday and kept in school all week)
• Please read with your child at least 3 times per week and record this in their reading record. 

Maths KIRFS (Key instant recall facts): 

• FS2 - To know odd and even numbers to 10.
• Year 1 - count in 2's, 5's and 10's.
• Year 2 - To know the 2, 5 and 10 times tables and division facts.
