Our topic this term is: Young Leaders
Welcome back to the final term of our school year. This term our focus will be on developing our skills as young leaders through a series of character-building lessons. We will be building confidence in our own leadership abilities, seeing what can be achieved through teamwork and trying to assist our community through selfless acts. In DT, we will be supporting this venture by learning about different textiles and creating friendship bracelets that we can sell to raise funds for the Friends of Sledmere School. In RE, we will continue to look at different sacred places that are important to people of different faiths. We will also resume our comparisons between Christianity and Sikhism. In our Science lessons we will be focusing on sustainability and the biodiversity that we see in our world. We will be identifying different habitats, understanding food chains and considering how human actions impact the world for better and for worse. As the term progresses we will taking part in our fantastic summer traditional events like sports day and a few other surprises!
