How can art help us to find out about animals?

Welcome back to Spring 2, we hope you all had a lovely half term! This half term, we will be learning all about animals and how art can help us to learn about them. We will be making clay sculptures, animals enclosures as well as learning all about animal groups in Science. We may even be lucky enough to meet some animals!

Alongside this, we will be looking at a well-known text in English, creating our own poems and continuing to learn ll about weather patterns and where we live.

• Homework will be sent out Thursdays
• Spelling tests for Y1: Thursdays
• A reminder for children to bring their PE kits in on a monday and then to be returned home on a Friday. 
• Please read with your child 3x weekly and record this in their reading records.
