‘How have humans decorated their urban environments?’
This half term the children will be becoming artists and learning all about photography and urban art. They will explore an urban area and compare it to our village. The children will have the opportunity to become photographers; learning about editing and what makes a good photograph. They will create their own ‘graffiti inspired’ art work using different art mediums and get to explore a range of urban art.
In Science, the children will learn all about the stages of ‘Growing up’, focusing on the human body and life cycles of animals.
We will also have the opportunity to celebrate important festivals such as Diwali, Bonfire night and our most favourite of all…..Christmas! The children will take part and produce their own version of a nativity and share this with you later on in the half term.
