The Friends of Sledmere School include parents and teachers but is also open to interested local residents, extended family members and local business owners. We regularly ask our members to have a say about our activities through a yearly Annual General Meeting and in committee meetings which take place every half term.

FOSS’s purpose is to support the education of pupils in school by developing effective relationships between staff and parents and providing extra activities, facilities and equipment.

The Chair is currently vacant. FOSS also has a  pool of committed volunteers who either attend meetings, or are active in our fundraising events.

FOSS is very grateful for the ongoing support of Sir Tatton Sykes, and the Sledmere Estate.
