Our topic this half-term: What does an insect look like?

Welcome back to the first term of this academic year. We will be exploring what an insect looks like. We will identify different insects that can be found in the local area and examining their features. We will be using these observations to create realistic drawings and 3D models of an insect. Insects live all around us, so we will also be exploring how we can help to look after them and their habitats in the local area. What does an insect look like?

Homework

Homework linked to the children's learning during the week will be handed out every Friday and due in the following week.

KIRFS

Year 3 - To know multiplication and division facs for the three times table.

Year 2 - To know the number bonds to and within 20.

Please can children access Timestables Rockstars three times a week. 

Reading 

Please can children read three to four times a week and have their reading record signed by an adult. Children will need to bring their reading record and reading book into school everyday.
