Our topic this half-term: How have trains made travel easier?

This half term we will be exploring how trains have made travel easier. We will explore what a journey looked like before trains in comparison to a modern train journey. We will be using this to discuss how trains have improved the transportation of people and goods. We will look at maps to investigate how Britain's railway network has changed over time. How have trains made travel easier?

Homework

Homework, linked to the children's learning during the week, will be handed out every Friday and due in the following week.

KIRFS

Year 3 - To know multiplication and division facts for the six times table.

Year 2 - To know derived facts to know number bonds to 100.

Please can children access Timestables Rockstars three times a week. 

Reading 

Please can children read three to four times a week and have their reading record signed by an adult. Children will need to bring their reading record and reading book into school everyday.
