Daily RWI Phonics speed sound lessons

Set 2 Speed sounds at 10am and spelling at 10.15. Reading one of the phonic books on Oxford Owl (see below)

Set 3 Speed sounds at 10.30 am and spelling 10.45. Reading one of the phonic books on Oxford Owl. (see below)

Reminder: We have added RWI sound flashcards to the previous page (20.4.20) so you can keep practising at home.

As a challenge, perhaps the children would like to practise writing some of the words containing these sounds.

Read an ebook on oxford owl and answer questions. E.G What was your favourite part, what will happen next etc

  • Year 1 starts with finding half of numbers. It's a good idea to use objects to help you - pasta pieces work well.
