Dear Class 1,
It feels like such a long time since we have seen your happy, smiling faces. We hope that you are safe and well at home. We will add to our class page so keep checking it regularly. We are sure you are already very busy, but if you want to do some extra learning at home then take a look below. None of it is compulsory. It is there for those of you who would like it.
We miss you lots and look forward to seeing you again soon.

We are still taking part in Joe Wicks every day but if you fancy a change , or like me, you just love a bit of Strictly, Oti Mabuse has created dance classes especially for you and there's lots to choose from.
Perhaps you could learn one of the dances and perform it for us when we return.

We have added RWI sound flashcards to this page so you can keep practising at home. Set 2 is for for FS2 and set 3 is for Year 1 children (although, I'm sure you will all be experts at super speedy sounds soon if you're not already!
As a challenge, perhaps the children would like to practise writing some of the words containing these sounds.
** Please Note that These cards are designed to be printed out so the format will look strange on screen. The flashcards contain the hook image and the rhyme to support this along with words that contain the sound.
The sound mats can be used in place of the flashcards. The sound mat again shows the hook image and the sound pattern itself BUT not the rhyme OR words that contain the sound.
