Sledmere and Wetwang Federation Governing Board

The day to day management of this school is the responsibility of the Headteacher but the Governing Board is responsible for overseeing all aspects of school life and has three statutory responsibilities:

Effective Governors are vital to the School. They have three core functions:

  2. Holding the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils, and the performance management of staff; and

These functions require the right people with the necessary skills (training is available), time and commitment.
